|
Capability Maturity Model Integration from SEI aims at achieving organization process maturity. Universally IT and non IT companies have embraced CMMI model to increase the productivity by reducing the Defect and Schedule variances.
Process Maturity acts as a catalyst for the organization success in meeting the business objectives. There are 25 process areas in CMMI spread across 4 maturity levels which are highly robust in accomplishing project management, requirements s management, engineering, testing, concurrent engineering and supplier management.
The standard provides an ISMS model for adequate and proportionate security controls to protect information assets and give confidence to interested parties.
SCAMPI (Standard CMMI Appraisal Model for Process Improvement)
We offer SCAMPI as a separate service other than our regular end-to-end CMMI consulting services.SCAMPI is the final phase of the CMMI Appraisal process and consists of Readiness Review and the Final Onsite activities.
The focus Readiness Review
- The ATM Training for the Appraisal Team Members for providing an understanding of the SCAMPI process that needs to be followed during the Appraisal.
- Administration of the CMMI Administration Questionnaire (CAQ) to selected Project Managers in the organization.
- Review of the Quality Management System of the Organization to check on the correctness and completeness of the System with respect to meeting the requirements of the desired level of CMMI.
- Review on the Project artifacts of selected projects to understand the level of implementation of the defined Quality System.
Scripting of the Interview Questions for the final Onsite period.
The Final Onsite Activities
- Face to Face interviews with identified Project Managers, Configuration Members, Engineering personnel covering the Requirements, Design, Build and Testing phases, the Senior Management team, the Quality Assurance and Support team personnel covering the Training, Purchase, Networks functions.
- The findings observed during the Review of the Quality System, Project Artifacts and finally during the Interviews are affirmed and the observations against each Process Area are documented and the rating for the CMMI Appraisal is completed.
The observations of the SCAMPI Class A are reported and filed with the SEI.
